Cryogenic plants

HOGAT LLC delivers, installs and starts up the сryogenic air separation plants.

Technology of air separation into gas components using low temperatures has been known for a long time. Cryogenic Plants operate on the principle of liquefying air, followed by its separation into oxygen, nitrogen and argon. Air in such Plant is first compressed by the Compressor, passes Heat Exchangers, expands in the Expander or Throttle Valve, which causes it to cool up to 930К (-1800C) and become liquid. Liquid air is further separated mostly into liquid nitrogen and liquid oxygen due to different gas boiling temperatures: Nitrogen starts to evaporate at temperature of 77,360К (-195,640C), oxygen – 90,180К (-182,820C). Separation of liquid air into its components takes place in Rectifying Column having inside "plates" wherein separation into gases takes place. This reiterately process makes it possible to obtain liquid oxygen, liquid nitrogen and liquid argon of the required purity.

Nitrogen and oxygen production by the cryogenic method is most effective at large enterprises, since such enterprises consume service gases in large quantities.

Cryogenic Air Separation Plants are indispensable and scalable solution for tasks wherein large-volume production of various gases of the highest purity (up to 99.9999%) in the liquid and gas-like state is required.
