HOGAT LLC installs Heat-Exchange Equipment for Centrifugal Compressors.
The need to install external Heat Exchangers (water-to-water) for Centrifugal Compressors has arisen due to the poor quality of circulating water at one of the enterprises. Before installation and commissioning of several Centrifugal Compressors Samsung SM6000 it was found out that impurities in the enterprise circulating water will quickly clog the Heat Exchangers of each Compressor. This will cause the Compressor shutdown after overheating and frequent maintenance. As extreme case would be replacement of clogged heat exchangers, which are expensive.
Therefore, our specialists installed external Heat Exchangers (separate Heat Exchanger for each Centrifugal Compressor). External Heat Exchangers are larger in size and much easier and more convenient to maintain. The water entering the Heat Exchangers of Centrifugal Compressors is always clean, because it circulates in closed cycle and comes out as already pre-cooled from the internal circuit of external Heat Exchanger. The enterprise circulating passes through the external circuit of external Heat Exchanger.
It should be noted that our specialists have repeatedly met with the situation when expensive Centrifugal Compressors are connected to the reverse water mains with dirty water. The consequences of this solution have already been described above - shutdown of Compressors after signal of high temperature and frequent maintenance of Heat Exchangers.
Ultimately, the installation of external Heat Exchangers for Centrifugal Compressors with low-quality circulating water is more advantageous than frequent unscheduled maintenance (up to replacement of internal Heat Exchangers) of expensive Centrifugal Compressors.
